AK Airbrushing really went all out on this Toyota owned by Dan Gilliland. The amount of detail work was hard for us to even capture on film. All we can say is this is a true rolling piece of art and Dan drives it to shows all over the Southwest. He even has a small trailer he pulls behind it to most events. Again we can not stress enough the amount of work that went into this build.

Cruise to the Pines

Cruise to the Pines is a show unlike any other. Participants start their journey in Phoenix, AZ and then make the 2 hour cruise up the mountains into Prescott, AZ where temps can sometimes be 20 degrees cooler. After the show people gather in what is called “Whiskey Row”. There are plenty of bars and places to eat in downtown Prescott and the host bar welcomes all show attendees with open arms. If you have never attended then put it on your calendar because you will definitely have a great time.

Hosted in the heart of beautiful Taupo, New Zealand – Laid Out at the Lake is New Zealand’s only show specifically for minitrucks and air bagged cars. 2015 was the fourth running of the event – and with the increase in competitor and visitor numbers, there’s no sign of it slowing down. Last year we travelled alongside WTF (Wellington Trucking Friends) to check out the show and there was no shortage of the usual WTF shenanigans along the way. Battle in Bama 2016

We traveled to Mobile, Alabama to attend Battle in Bama presented by Metal Brothers Hot Rods. You can see the title is fitting to the location which is by far one of the best show locations we have ever been to. Unfortunately Mother Nature had some plans to try and ruin the event but the promoters fought hard and in a matter of minutes moved the event from the flooded grass to the adjacent asphalt.
